How do words become actions? I am on Facebook and seeing many of us sending our love and prayers to California right now. I’m doing the same; however, there is a part of me that wants to physically do something. I want to go there or I want to send money, etc. I’m sure many of us feel the same. It seems words must eventually be backed up by action. And, so I do what I can.
However, there is a deeper action than outward doing that I can do right here. I can truly live right where I am in the peace, love and light. I can put action behind my words right here, as I reach out to those right where I am. I thought of rushing off to California to help my friends, but I realize. at least at this moment that I am needed right where I am.
So, when I feel helpless to do something, I know that I can be a little kinder to my neighbor, the store clerk, the people driving on the road with me,. This is action. Kindness is action. We cannot always solve the world’s problems; however, we can change ourselves, and then act accordingly.
Solutions will be more evident because the people solving them will have greater consciousness. I invite us all to work in the world of consciousness and then bring that consciousness into our actions right where we are. I think there is a quote by Mother Theresa that goes something like this. “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”
Great Love is what changes experiences no matter what we are doing. Every act means something. I think when we truly come from our heart in this way that the right experiences will find us right where we are. We will know what is ours to do. A loving heart attracts experiences to express that love. It’s Law.
And by the way, there are no small things. Every act backed by love is huge.

Love Changes everything 
Proof of your words came to us yesterday. We had been laboring about how to help – so much is needed – that we got stuck in the “what to do” mode of not doing anything. Then, on Facebook, we learned that a friend and minister lost her home with her piano and her printer on which she creates great music and great lessons. We knew then that God was directing this Fiery Opus with amazing lessons for us all about what to do and how to do it. We, along with many of our spiritual community members, are not longer stuck but being part of the solution. Interestingly, Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring a fund-raiser here on Sunday to prepare for the next round of community builds, our way of answering the call for “Right Where I Am.”
