Go Big!

I don’t think I’ve ever gone quite this big before. I’ve started and stopped businesses upon getting started whenever I had to take that next step. Not so this time. Michael Beckwith’s words from a recent talk “Go Big!” were just what I needed to hear a few days ago. I was feeling very uncomfortable. I could feel myself shrinking into my old self, but then I had a definite realization. That old part of me that stopped my progress when it felt too big needed to melt away and be replaced by my larger self. This is not easy and it takes practice and constant surrendering and letting go. It takes deep breaths and remembering who I am.

We are building a new Center for CSL Kaua’i’s Institute of Magnificence, and today I focused on clarity and perfect communication. I just knew that the Universe would answer yes to me. And, of course it did. “Go Big!” Yes, this is the time for all of us to go big no matter what we think is in our way. It’s just a thought. It might present itself as a very big bill or a person that walks away just when you need him or her. It might be a moment of vandalism like we experienced at our new Center today. These are just the old consciousness dying away. “Go big!” I don’t know what else to do.

Today, I could feel the momentum of all the people we are working with build as we put lights up, finished up a painting job and began packing and clearing. There is a lot to do, but when we “Go Big!” something larger than our finite self steps in and takes us on the ride. The world shows up in a bigger way. It’s not about the money that they will receive. It’s not about deadlines or hindrances. It’s like a fever that takes hold of everyone and we just realize that we are on a ride that is riding us. We might not even communicate this to each other. However, we are most definitely in a dance together that is dancing us.

“Go Big!” is a definite choice. It is about having the revelation and then being willing to change to meet it. I love what a friend of mine, Scott Mason, said in a talk about his recent health challenge. He said, “I allowed it to change me.” This is a huge statement. Many times when the world of conditions hits us in the face, we try to meet it with our old self. We can’t do it. We have to change. My husband used the analogy of meeting the world as a habit of his old self. Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work is all about changing the habit of being yourself. Yes, we do live our lives as habits that we just keep repeating. However, when we can meet our challenges from that higher place instead of our old selves, trust and have faith and move forward, there is nothing we cannot do.

“Go Big!” That’s my theme this month as we move to our new Center. I will not shrink with the challenges, but instead allow them to grow me to a larger self. She’s there right where I am and she’s been hiding too long. “Go Big Girl!”
