Intentions and Surrender

Our Center and our ministry is going through a lot of change right now. We stand in the midst of a definite evolution of ourselves and how we live ministry in this challenging world. I am grateful for a philosophy that teaches me that I am fully responsible for my life and my evolution. I get to choose in every moment, not necessarily what happens, but how I interpret and live from what happens. It is not a random universe and there is a definite plan that I am living right now. That plan is not predetermined, but lives in the constantly ever changing present moment.

So, what’s next for me depends on my intentions and my ability to surrender those intentions to a higher law that works through me to bring them forth. It’s the same for all of us. Clarity is the name of the game, but rigidness is not. Knowing who we are as Divine beings is a prerequisite to a healthy life. I remain fluid in my intention to live creatively, abundantly and filled with a joy for living. How that comes about is none of my business. The more I try to figure it out, the more I dam up the ever-flowing life that is living me.

So, today, I just remain clear. I remain open. I remain in the flow of this day, moment, by moment by moment. Answers are here. New questions are here. I am most definitely grateful.

Love and Aloha,

Rev. Rita Andriello-Feren, Co-Founding Spiritual Director CSL Kaua1i and Author
