What are We Waiting For? Part II

Last week I wrote a blog about waiting to embody the Christ consciousness. Do we put it outside of ourselves, relegating it to Jesus and other Divine beings? Do we have a mediator? I concluded that it was time to realize and claim our sonship/daughtership as the Christ. I believe that is what Jesus came to teach. I believe that we all have the capability of claiming our Christhood right now if we dare…

I’ve heard it said that sometimes people think our philosophy is “woo woo.” They want to get into the world of form and really work it out there. This philosophy that I embrace is not “woo woo” because it can be taken into life and used and proved. It is scientific. In fact that is why it is called Religious Science.

So how do we prove and test the premise that we are the Christ and brother/sister in that Christhood not just with each other, but with Jesus himself and Buddah and others who have come to live that Christ consciousness.

It is really quite simple. Get it out of the ethereal and bring it to life. Spirit must be lived. What does it look like and feel like to be a Christ. To me, it would be approaching everything through the eyes of love and compassion. It would mean that I would live my life acting and feeling my oneness with everyone – and I mean everyone. I would take responsibility for my experiences. I would bring my highest mind of love to my experiences instead of the other way around.

In other words, instead of trying to figure out how I am going to pay my bills or get through this illness or control this or that in the world of form, I would begin to actually say to myself that I already have the answers. I would stay quiet long enough to listen to that deep place within me. I would not be thinking from the world of form and conditions, but thinking into them from the highest consciousness. I would be willing to receive and accept my good. I would know that I know.

The only way I can do this is through practice and application. It could happen right now or it might take eternity. It doesn’t matter, as long as I stay right here right now in this moment and live it. As long as I am not waiting for a particular time or lifetime or what I think is my immortality and live it now, I am succeeding.

What am I waiting for? Myself. Ernest Holmes once wrote that “God left us here to discover ourselves.” He wasn’t talking about an outside God dropping us here on earth to see what would happen with us. We are talking about a journey that we can only make as individuals. We are the ones that have to discover ourselves. What are we waiting for? It’s simple. “As a man thinketh, so is he.” It’s all here and we can see how far we have come by listening to ourselves and then knowing something more than that and more and more. Letting go of the material world and yet living in it from a higher order. We can prove it and see our results as our life. What do you see? Do you realize that it comes from Spirit? It’s one thing and living the Christ brings everything to beauty, love, peace, prosperity no matter what it looks like.
