Many in our world, our country, our state, our city, our neighborhood are or have been traumatized by the events of the last few years. We are living in uncertainty and in an unknown future. We can all recognize where we are in this. Are we in fear? Do we feel that everything is going to be all right? Are we persistent in our deep work of going within and examining our fears, our needs, are own experience in all that is occurring?
On the other hand, there are those who feel that they’ve faired well in this experience. They do not feel touched by it. They feel strong and ready for whatever challenges us. They see beyond the reality of the conditional world to a larger Reality that holds them up and allows them to find peace, hope and resilience.
Wherever we are on this seesaw of feelings and emotions, there is one and only one thing that keeps us in a state of peace. I know that this one thing is the Power and the Presence of the Spirit within each of us that is fully equipped for whatever is placed in front of it. This Spirit of resilience, of love, of transcendent consciousness is all that there is and is my go to place always.
Some of us out there, think this is not enough, that those of us that live and preach and teach and support with this transcendent consciousness are not looking at the real picture. I say that we definitely see the “real picture,” and we are those people who look for solutions through moving ourselves to a higher consciousness that realizes that experiences are our road that leads within to our true selves.
Yes, I realize that we are not all at this level in our ability to use our innate Divine tools, but that does not mean they are not available. The Universal Power turns to us as we turn to it. As we surrender all of it to the altar of love, we are buoyed up by a greater part of ourselves that signed up for this all.
Ernest Holmes, mystic and teacher once wrote, “There’s a Power for Good in the Universe, greater than we are and we can use it.” He spoke these words at a time in our world when we were experiencing war, the Great Depression, the atomic bomb and so much more. Thousands upon thousands came to hear him speak and found hope and life in his words. They learned how to make these words real in their experience.
That is what we need now. We need to turn to the words that lift us up, that give us tools to use to travel this time. We need to also give those words to others and the tools to use to lift them up.
In husband’s talk yesterday, he quoted Brene Brown as saying that our little children within were asking “when were the grownups coming to save us.” Yes, we might be scared, we might be looking for someone to save us. We might be looking for the next great leader. Please, I invite us to look again, look within, look to each other, friends, loved ones that resonate to the same tone. We are the ones and we have all that is required. We are Spirit. We are Life. We are Love. We have a God army of 50 trillion or more cells backing us. We have everything we require. Call for assistance to those who can lead you back to yourSELF. Be one of those people. You are magnificent. You are the butterfly!
