In the Disney film, Frozen, the character Elsa, finally meets her destiny. She no longer cares what anyone else thinks. She is ready to take on her power. She is the one she has been waiting for.

Last night, we met as a group called Wisdom and Chocolate. Every week we have an amazing soul-filled discussion on a Principle of the New Thought Philosophy relating it to our life. It is always new, different and inspiring. Last night was no different. At one point someone spoke about how we are being called to live our lives from the deepest part of ourselves, and then another added that here on Kaua`i, we hold the light for the great shift that is taking place on this planet.

I believe this is true, and I also believe that we all have the capability to not just hold the light, but to give it in every moment. However, we must find that light within ourselves. It is not relegated to the place we live, it comes from within. We must claim it and command it to show Itself, though and as us.

Everything is energy. I didn’t make this up. Einstein knew it. Science knows it and proves it. We are energy and we have the capability to shift into anything we choose in any moment. Ernest Holmes once wrote, “WE CAN CHANGE THE TREND OF CAUSATION ANY TIME WE DECIDE TO DO SO. He wrote it in all CAPS as if he is was screaming at us.

Is there an area in your life where you feel stuck? Do you feel like you cannot change or that you are doomed to just repeat your old ways? There is no truth in this. We can change. Our circumstances change as we change. As we give up our old ways of thinking, our shift takes place. “Show yourself, I’m dying to meet you. Show yourself. It’s your turn. Are you the one I’ve been looking for all my life. Show yourself! I’m ready to learn.”

Reciting these words to ourselves, calls forth that place within us that has been there all the time. It’s time for all of us to show ourselves and live from that place. We are the Light.
