As I sit here looking at this blank page, many thoughts fill my mind. It is almost the end of March, and I have not written in a while. It has been a profound month for me. I turned 70 on March 12th. I created a birthday for myself to celebrate this new decade that included a party at our Center for Spiritual Living, an intense retreat with Gregg Braden and a week-long visit with my children and grandchildren. I am still digesting all of it and integrating it into my present life.

I feel centered, and my most profound feelings is being done with holding back myself, my truth and my place in the world. I feel that in every moment I am still discovering what that is. However, I cannot discover it. if I do not allow myself to sink into my true self. It is time to give and receive all our gifts. What I know is that each of us is needed on this planet right now in order to be part of Mother Nature as she takes us through this shift.

There is much pain in the world. That is a relative fact. I try not to stay too connected to the news and the insistent nature of the media to make us feel that only evil exists. I know it is not true, and yet there is so much to pull us to that relevant fact. What is more important to me is what is true on the metaphysical level, for I believe it is that Reality that is here to carry us through this time of transition. Just as the mother lets go when the pivotal time of birth comes, as the baby is crowning and she is willing to give up her own life for that of her child, so we must be willing to let go and give up our old worn out selves, in order to open up to what is here for us to experience.

It is not something that shows itself to those stuck in the old paradigm. We have to be willing to see beyond the veil of appearances and create in mind that which we want to see. If this seems idealistic, it might mean that you are stuck in the old paradigm. It really takes a leap of faith. As the teacher and author Dr. Joe Dispenza said, “If you want to predict your future, you must create it now.” The quote might not be exact, but you get the point. There is no way to predict the future. We have to create the future we want to see.

While we were on retreat with Gregg Braden – “Pure Human Breakthrough,” my greatest takeaway was the message decoded in our cells, which reads “God Eternal Within the Body.” This one ancient message is the answer to all our challenges and limited views of each other and our world. It is the answer to the end of violence and the birth of the new era. If we truly accepted that all of us were “God Eternal within these bodies,” we would have to accept that we are of the same essence. We would have to accept that we were truly one. We would understand that killing each other or harming each other or our planet was indeed destroying ourselves.

I am on the journey of healing myself and all the pain and turmoil of my ancestors at the same time. I am so grateful for the knowing that it is not too late to move through this time of crisis and shift by just being our best and highest selves and living that self and sharing it it our own way. It takes digging deep into all in the psyche that holds us back. It is a self-excavation. I am grateful to know that shift is not something I have to make happen; it is merely something I have to recognize. The heart of love leads the way and we all have that path within us. We only need to truly be willing to follow it. There are angels and helpers all around us. We are in this together and will walk through it together.
