In Memory of Robb Jones RScP

On May 22, 2023, we lost the human presence of a pillar of a man, a magnificent soul, Robb Jones RScP. On this Earth plane, he was a Practitioner of Religious Science and from the very first Practitioner class in our Center for Spiritual Living Kaua`i. He was a friend and more than that, he was our family. He was a scientist, a scholar, and so steeped in the New Thought Philosophy. He was a seeker of Truth and a forever student. He’s what I call a Renaissance Man because he excelled at and was interested in so much of life.

And even beyond this, he was the most amazing technician and builder. Many of us here at our Center have some part of Robb in our houses in the way of repairs or new structures. There was nothing he could not do, and if he didn’t know how to do it, he figured it out. Robb brought CSL Kaua`i into the professional livestream world by building a livestream technology from scratch, Google and YouTube videos and books and much more – his own Intuition and Infinite Intelligence. He just wouldn’t relent until he figured it out and made it work. We are so grateful for all that he shared with us in so many ways, all of which cannot even be summarized here.

However, let me go even beyond all this. Robb’s loving presence, his sense of humor, his brilliance shall never be forgotten. We are hurting right now because we cannot fathom how we will not be seeing him walking into our Center with that computer under his arm, or sitting at the camera or even sitting at our dinner table eating my spaghetti sauce. It is quite unbelievable and we keep thinking we’ll wake up and he won’t be gone. The reality of his earthly presence is still real and here.

We saw Robb for the last time on Sunday, May 21. He asked us to read him Ernest Holmes’ last talk –  the “Sermon by the Sea.” I might have thought I knew, but I don’t think I really knew how deeply rooted he was in the Science of Mind teaching. Robb was an artist and he painted a portrait of Ernest Holmes that sits in our Center. On Sunday, he explained to me how he hoped he had caught Ernest’s essence in that painting because Ernest meant so much to him.

What many do not know about Robb was how he lived so gallantly with a serious chronic health condition for most of his life. We didn’t know because even though his body wasn’t always there for him, his Spirit was one of Perfect Health. His Creative Spirit was far more important to him than anything else. His givingness to all of us was much more important to him. His yearning to learn everything there was to learn was more important to him. His Service to all of us was much more important than anything else.

I’m going to miss his smile, his humor, his flirtatious Spirit with all of us women, and his deep, deep kindness. I am knowing he is flying in the galaxies of stars that he loved so much. I am knowing that we are forever together in the One Consciousness of Love that he exemplified. My love for him and for his beautiful wife Rose Anne is deeply carved into my being forever more. Fly, beautiful, Robb! Fly for all of us!

Love and Aloha,

  1. Thank you Rita for this lovely remembrance! Truly Robb was and is a spiritual giant and an inspiration.

I trust if there is a service that ya’ll will email about it. THANK YOU for keeping me on the email list, though I haven’t attended CSL Kauai much since before COVID. I still consider CSL a gathering of lovely like-minded spiritual beings and I remain a friend.

Thank you also for maintaining an email newsletter. I’ve never been a FaceBook user and don’t see myself going to some of the new “platforms,” so I am grateful for what some call “old school” communication.

    With aloha, Diana

  2. It still has not sunk in that Robb’s physical presence is no longer here on earth. His sweet smile will greet me when I’m back at CSL. His presence behind the camera will forever be engraved in my mind because he was always there. Chess will always be a game to remember his peaceful presence. And his painting of Roseanne playing chess IS Robb’s live for her. Your earthful energy is shining on CSLK – how lucky we are!!!
