Today is the day! We are moving out of the East Kauai Professional Building and settling into our new space at the Hongwanji Mission Hall. This has not been an easy move and it is far from complete. There is lifting to do, cleaning to do and lots more fixing. I do my best to stay in the flow in faith. It takes more than we originally conceived to make a move such as this one.
As I get ready today to give my last talk in this old space, I am contemplating all that I must let go of in the way of weight and “the wait.” Today, any thoughts of anything but success must leave my consciousness and be replaced by what I know as the Truth. I came to this Island for one purpose and one purpose only and that was to awaken each and every person I meet to their magnificence and to give them the spiritual tools of the Science of Mind that will assist them in living their best and most powerful lives. Have I been successful so far? In my own mind, I know there is much more for me to do and mostly to be. As I let go of anything that does not serve me, I serve the greater whole.
Today, I let fo of the wait. Today, I make the decision to lift myself up and out of the consciousness of the collective that still focuses on what’s wrong in the world, and I begin to expand my consciousness into looking for only what is right and good.
I just now happened upon an article while looking for some quotes from New Thought philosophers on healing. There are no mistakes. The whole article was a rejection of any belief that would instill in people that positive thinking was valuable and, in fact, we had no power to change anything in our lives except through the power of Jesus Christ.
I am not going to argue with this because all of us have the freedom to choose what we believe. Never take someone’s conception of God away, for it is theirs and gives them peace. However, what I do know is that belief is everything and dictates the outcome of our lives. Even Jesus was quoted as saying this. “It is done unto you as you believe.”
No matter the challenge, the joy, the voyage we are on, what we believe and perceive about it makes all the difference in the world. I also know that thoughts can be healing or they can be destructive. I also know that thoughts drive us into action, no matter what that action is. Keeping the highest thoughts of love, compassion, health and prosperity, will drive us into action for those values. We are who we think we are.
Yesterday, 166 countries and over 200,000 people came together to “Walk for the World,” through a meditation for healing with Dr. Joe Dispenza. Dr. Joe was a man, who at 26 years old lay on death’s doorstep, doomed to become crippled for the rest of his life. Through the Power of meditation, changing his thoughts and his own perseverance to do so, he is now, at 61 years old, a power in the world for the transformation from old victim thinking to a consciousness of full responsibility for one’s life and one’s mind.
I am all in with this and I do believe the wait is over. I must stand for peace, for collaboration, for wholeness. I must let go of the weight of old thinking and live fully in 100% responsibility for myself, my thinking, and, therefore, my contribution to the world. Yesterday, during the meditation, we stood for the world by standing for ourselves. The Truth is we are entangled in consciousness and so much more. What you are thinking matters. What you believe changes everything. And, what you do about it brings about the change you say you wish to see.
