It is My Life Now!

“There is but one Power, Intelligence and Consciousness in the Universe, but One Presence. This One Presence cannot change. There is nothing for It to change into but Itself… It is my life now… Claim that no form of race-suggestion, belief in limitation, subjective idea of limitation, thought of karma, fatalism, theology, or hell, horoscope, or any other false belief has power. Accept none of them. If you have ever believed in them—if you have ever believed that the stars govern you, or that your environment governs you, or that your opportunities govern you—recognize this as a hypnotic condition into which you have fallen, and deny every one of them until there is no longer anything in you that believes in them.”
— Ernest Holmes

We are the sole authorities of our minds and our consciousness. Everything else is an effect of that consciousness.

During these times of chaos and upheaval, my only prayer for all of us is that we step forward from within — from the highest part of ourselves — and act from there.

In the darkest hour, the tides are changing. We are rising in consciousness. Enough is enough. We are recognizing that it is cooperation, collaboration, and inner creativity that will birth a new world. We do not need to battle the 3-D world. For me, I am in the world, but not of it.

So what do I do? How do I assist? How do I show up? What do I do when I see injustice?

I do not stand idly by. I speak out. Yet most of all, I am an example of what a human being can be. I serve. I give. I live the highest and best life I can, right where I am.

It was Mother Teresa who said, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

What small act of great love can I do today? What can you do today? Can we step outside the consciousness of war, hatred, prejudice, and external influences and refuse to let them govern our state of being? Can we go within, feel the One Presence — the one benevolent Source Energy, the one Divine Love, Creative Intelligence — and declare: “It is my life now”?

Then allow our hearts and minds to embody this Energy and let it guide our path.

I am not saying it is easy. However, the place to begin is simple: when we feel overcome by a particular challenge, we pause. We breathe. We speak to ourselves in the gentleness of the inner Presence.

I know this works.

We must take the time to still the mind in the midst of chaos. The world is very loud right now, and we cannot meet it combatively. Cultivating inner peace is the ultimate journey toward peace.

Love and Aloha,
Rev. Dr. Rita Andriello-Feren
