Are you questioning something right now? Have you been, perhaps, introduced to an idea that seems familiar, yet you just can’t accept it? Did someone say something that made you question everything you ever believed? Are you questioning your life, what you are doing and who you are? If you are answering “yes” to any of these questions, I think that is a good thing.
I think asking questions and contemplating and testing our beliefs is a good thing. It means that we are growing. It means that we are evolving. Nothing really stays the same; yet, there is a Truth that is changeless. We are waking up.
Tonight, we saw a film called “3 Magic Words.” The film was not a new concept to me and, yet, I experienced in a new way. I got to experience it through all the people who were watching it with me. I got to hear what they thought about those 3 magic words and whether or not they thought those words would change their life and our planet.
The 3 magic words are not “I love you.” Many people jump to that conclusion. According to the creators of this film the 3 magic words that will change our life and this planet are “I am God.”
Does that seem blasphemous? Do you feel like a heretic for uttering those 3 magic words? Many people do; yet, if we could just try them out, if we could just contemplate the idea, something might change in our world. In fact, in the film they say if we could all just contemplate the idea that we are God, we wouldn’t hurt each other. We wouldn’t kill others or send each other to war. What do you think?
Why is it so unbelievable that we could be God? If God is omnipresent then that would mean he/she was everywhere. Isn’t that omnipresent means? Maybe, it’s why we’ve never seen God – that man on a cloud. Maybe, just maybe it is the truth and we (God) have been hiding out.
I invite us to try on the 3 magic words. I invite us to not just try them on, but to try living from that place. What would your life look like? What could you do, be, have? I really think the destiny of Planet Earth might rely on these 3 magic words. It’s worth questioning ourselves at least. It’s worth looking within and asking “Who Am I?” After I strip away everything I do, my name, my body and everything, who am I…really?
Love and Aloha,
Rev. Rita
