It is done unto you as you believe. This is what we teach in our philosophy of Science of Mind and Spirit. It is what the great Master Teacher and Wayshower, Jesus the Christ taught. We live in a mental and spiritual and physical Universe. As you know my mother has made her transition. She is no longer on this plane of physical existence the way I knew her. She has moved on. Her best friend and confidant, Theresa told me tonight that my mother was in a better place. I believe this. My mother wanted nothing more than to be with her husband Bob and to see Jesus. Who am I to say that this did not happen? Of course it did.

If it is done unto us as we believe (and my mother truly believed), then I am sure all her prayers are answered. I am grateful for her, her faith and for her continued journey.

I can’t say I know everything, but I have a deep feeling that the mystery of life and death is revealed as we are ready to receive it. I trust this. I trust that my mother is exactly where she believed herself to be.

Really, we say this in our faith and tradition…we say that as we speak our word, so it is. If it is the case on this plane of existence, then it must be true on all planes. “In my Father’s house, there are many mansions.” There are Universal Laws that our true no matter what plane we are on. They are Universal Laws.

I am flying back to Kaua’i today. I am sad even though I know all this. I will be sitting with this sadness and letting it speak to me. I’m sure it will reveal many things to me if I stay with it long enough. I plan to do just that. What did Kahlil Gibran say in “The Prophet?” Something about Joy and Sorry being the same thing. I believe that.
