“A sacred refuge is this inner place where my thought contacts and consciously becomes one with the Indwelling Presence.” Ernest Holmes
Do you know that we never need to ask another person about what we should do? We have all the power, wisdom, light, and guidance right where we are. I know this is true. I know this is true for everyone.
I am not here to tell anyone what I think is best for them or to give them any advice at all. My only calling is to lead someone back to themselves and their own light and wisdom. The greatest power we each have is the power of our own consciousness and how we use our mind.
I know sometimes things can get muddled and we can get confused. It is good to have someone to guide us back, but let’s make sure they are guiding us back to ourselves and not off to some foreign land where their tips and predictions. I know you know what I am talking about.
Lately, I’ve been wanting answers about certain things occurring in my life and surrounding my life. My tendency is to reach out and start reading whatever I can. There is nothing wrong with this, but eventually, I must ask myself what I think. I go to meditation and treatment. What I know for myself is that when I open myself up to knowing that I do have the answers, the answers begin to come. Suddenly, what seemed like such a mystery is so obvious.
What I know is that all that ever was and ever will be is written on the walls of time and space and beyond. It is Infinite. We all have access to that, and we can all decide individually what we believe to be true or not true.
There is a way to think that will never set us astray and that is from love. When we consciously become one with that “indwelling Presence” that Dr. Holmes is talking about, there is nothing we cannot know.
I sit in the mystery and understand that the answers come in the perfect time.
Love and Aloha,
Rev. Rita
