We now know scientifically that in order to create a new life for ourselves we must change our energy. We must literally become the experience before it happens.

One hundred years ago, Ernest Holmes, the teacher, mystic and Founder of the Science of Mind and Spirit wrote, “We have thought that outside things controlled us, when all the time we have had that within which could have changed everything and given us freedom from bondage.”

This is the biggest hurdle we must overcome if we are to have a new life with experiences of health, wealth, love and creativity. We must experience these things in mind before we see them. We must literally live them in our imaginations with feeling and color. We must turn from the material to the inner world that resides in each of us.

In the Science of Mind, we have something called Spiritual Mind Treatment. It does just that. Through the five steps of Treatment, we enter into the Absolute or Quantum field where all is unlimited and pure energy. We can call it God or Universe or Life, but it is one thing and it is everywhere present. Once we truly recognize that Power and that it is present right where we are, we are ready to announce our Reality, the Truth about us. Whether it is that we are always healthy or that our lives our flowing in abundance or any other Truth, we know that in this Field of Unlimited Possibility we must match our Energy to those claims we are making. We give thanks in advance, feeling the gratitude welling up in us for what already is. Then, most importantly, we must release the whole creation to the Field of Energy or what we call Law that puts the pieces together in the way that is perfect for us. As Joe Dispenza would say, our thoughts are the electrical charge in the field and our feelings are the magnet. Our Treatment must be filled with color, warmth, conviction and feeling.

So, there you go. After that, we have entered a whole new world. We are in a new state of being. We trust and have faith that what we have imagined, announced and released is already so, so we walk forward into life with certainty and an openness for the miracles and synchronicity to occur. If we have doubts, we’ve neutralized what we’ve done, so we must go back and start again. But, the good news is, we’ve always made progress and so it gets easier and easier.

This process continues to work in my life. When people come to me and want to introduce me to other modalities, shamans, gurus, and other belief systems, I listen for something new. I am open at the top and ready for more information. This is why I love learning about how Science is now proving all that the mystics have always known.  However, what I know is that I’ve experienced many modalities and belief systems over my 66 years and the only thing that always comes back to me is that it is up to me. I am the one that has to do it for myself, co-creating with the Power of the Universe.

In 1998, I walked into my first Science of Mind and Spirit Center with the openness to experience something different from the sorrow and pain I was feeling. I put the Principles to practice again and again. I seemed to fail a lot of the time, but I wasn’t really failing. I was just testing, like a scientist does until I found the right formula for me. I had to overcome the obstacles of belief that I had that were holding me back. It was well worth the time and process that it took to overcome all those years of past programming. I have a whole new life and I am continuing to grow and expand.

Oh, one more thing. We are never too old to make these changes in our life. We are never too sick or too poor. As Ernest Holmes wrote, “We are not depending on a reed shaken by the wind, but on the Principle of Life Itself, for all that we have or ever shall need. It is not some power, or a great power, it is ALL POWER.”

It has no age to it. It is eternal and we are on an eternal journey of becoming our true selves.
