In the mid 1800’s Malinda Cramer one of the founders of Divine Science, came to know her health after a lifetime of suffering with a chronic disease. One morning in despair and after years of medical treatments failing, she asked the question, “Is there any way out of these conditions? Is there any power in the vast universe that can heal me?” She didn’t hear a voice, but says she felt the life-giving energy of Spirit course through her body. Her friends were skeptical, and when they asked her what she was going to do about it, she said simply, “Get well, of course.”
There is no doubt in my mind that healing is our natural state of being. If it weren’t so, the Universe couldn’t exist for one moment. We come from wholeness and no matter what we do to ourselves or our world, to wholeness we must return. As Raymond Charles Barker said, “We cannot not destroy a spiritual pattern.”
So, what am I going to do about this? After a lengthy discussion in a class last night about medicine vs. spiritual mind healing and many other topics and questions that went around in circles for two hours, there is only one conclusion that I embrace. We are health and no matter what we might be experience in the world of conditions, to health we will return whether we make our transition or walk from our hospital beds back into our lives here on earth. We cannot destroy a spiritual pattern.
I do believe that we are at a time in our evolution as a species that accepting our health and well being might be the next step in the evolutionary link. If we truly studied the ancient ones, we would learn that they knew this all along. We are all connected in a matrix of energy that shifts and changes according to our beliefs. What do we believe now? That is what we will experience.
Is it important whether or not we heal naturally or through the world of the medical? This is not what I am talking about. To me the importance is only in the realization that we are the Energy of Love and the embodiment of a Loving Creative Force that lives and breathes as each of us. If we are to grow into our next evolution and you were to ask me, what I was going to do, I’d say, “Well, I’m not going to just get well, but I am going to be well of course.”
Health is a state of consciousness. How do we manifest it? Here is a simple answer from Gregg Braden. “Manifestation begins with the willingness to make room in our beliefs for something that supposedly doesn’t exist. We create that ‘something’ through the force of consciousness and awareness.”
I invite us all no matter who we are, where we are, or what we are experiencing, to at least be willing to investigate these concepts of health and healing that have been proven and are now being proven throughout the world; and to begin, instead of arguing why things aren’t working, to embrace the idea of how they may work in our individual lives.
Love and Aloha,
