Living By Principle

There is a Universal Law that is exact and gives back to us exactly what we reflect into it. It is the boom-a-rang of the Universe. I believe in this Principle. It is God. It is Source. It is me. It is you. It is impersonal in that it isn’t interested in our wants and desires. It just says yes to us. There is another aspect to this Principle. It is Love. It is the deep, deep part of ourselves that is continually leading us and guiding us. As we turn to It. It turns to us.

I’ve been taught to embrace both parts of this Principle: Love and Law. Love will lead us. Law will take care of the rest; however, we must move our feet in the direction we say we want to go. This means take a step of faith at all times that shows the Universe that you mean business, that you truly believe.

The other part of all this is that this is not magical thinking in that we do not still have challenges and experiences that call us to grow in consciousness. In fact, it is guaranteed that when you open up to expansion that you will demonstrate experiences that force you to expand. It’s called the evolution of your consciousness. Nothing stays the same and change is inevitable. However, the good news is that we are equipped for everything that is in front of us. I believe that if it is here, we have called it here for the purpose of our expansion.

I believe Life is innately good, and people are innately good. Gurudeva once wrote, “All that is happening is good. All that is happening is meant to be.” If we truly think deeply on this and relate it to the Principle of Expansion, we will see that it is true. The Universe is more focused on goodness. If it weren’t so, we wouldn’t exist. The Universe/God only knows life. We are that life. I do not claim to understand it all. I am still growing and looking deeply into all of this. I believe we should prove it for ourselves. The only way to do that is to test it by living by it and observing our life.

In these challenging times of the 21st Century, I do not know a better way to walk through all of it than focusing on the goodness and looking for what I want to see. I believe in affirming the positive and this is what works for me. I do not deny my feelings. I do get angry. I kick and scream about things, too. However, I don’t stay there. I find some positive action I can take that supports that in which I believe.

I’m writing this blog, not to force you to believe the way I do, but to just offer another perspective to the challenges in the world or in your life. Perhaps, the Universe is working for you, not against you. Perhaps, the Universe is waiting for you to take action that let this beautiful Law know you mean business.

Love and Aloha,
