It’s Christmas time! No matter what we believe it to be and whether we celebrate it or not, there is something present right now in this Season that is palpable. I believe it is the Christ Consciousness. We might celebrate Hanukkah or Solstice or Kwanza or nothing at all, but an energy is present, and we feel it at this time of year more than any other time. So much so that soldiers have put their guns down for a moment and families who do not even see each other at other times of the year feel the pull to come together…for some connection that they long for.
What is that something and why is it more present now than other times? It is so present that it brings the darkness forward to an even greater degree in the form of loss, depression and longing. What is it?
I believe it is the calling from deep within us that recognizes are True Identity on the subconscious level. That the Christ is calling from the deep, whether we recognize it or not. It is calling and its Consciousness is more present now because more people are energetically focusing on it, no matter what they call it. It is the Power of Love, and whether we give it or take it, ignore it or embrace it, it cannot help making itself known.
We’ve been searching for something, waiting for something and calling for something for a long time when all along it has been right here. What if, just what if, today, this Christmas Season we said yes to it? What if, like the man Jesus himself, we just said yes to it and surrendered to it and allowed it to be who we are?
I believe that if we did that the New Earth that we keep talking about would be born. We do not have to look for it outside of ourselves. We do not have to follow a star or wait for the moon to be in the right position. It’s already here waiting for us.
So, the next time you look into someone’s eyes, whether you know them or not, whether you like them or not, just for a moment, I invite you to look into the eyes of the Christ from the Christ. I invite you to go into your family settings and do the same. I invite us all to let go of all expectations, traditions and the way things have to be and just be our Christ selves. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
Merry Christ-mas!
Love and Aloha,
Rev. Rita
