Last night I shared a workshop about the life of Anton Mesmer, the German doctor of the 1700’s who discovered something he called Animal Magnetism. We are probably familiar with the term Mesmerism. Yes, he supposedly mesmerized many with his intriguing personality and passion for healing.
I learned many interesting facts about Dr. Mesmer from my research, but the thing that stands out in my mind is the recurring theme in the world of wanting to bring down a person who has a new idea about health. It seems that from the moment we can recall human existence here that lack of health has been an issue for our species. At the same time, there have been many who have made it their life to find a way to help us all to get better. Dr. Mesmer did this, and although he denied it, his methods spoke of the beginnings of the real Truth about healing. Healing comes from within us.
If there is a recurring theme about healing no matter the modality, I believe it is that “it is done unto us as we believe.” We are the healer and the healed. If we choose to go to John of God or down the street to the local healthcare facility, it is done unto us as we believe.
I know this is true because I have experienced a multitude of people embracing different healing modalities and getting results or not. It is done unto us as we believe. I know two cases that are documented where the persons defy their x-rays and their tests. The x-ray does not support how the person is functioning in the world of form. The blood tests do not support the person’s health. I know of other cases which I have read where a miraculous recovery occurs and then the medical world says perhaps it was a mis-diagnosis. I could write my own book from personal experience.
So, my question is why are we so willing to keep arguing against what we want so much to experience. We’ve had a quest for health for eons. Many have presented us with ways of acquiring health, and yet we want to argue it down until we do not believe it is possible.
We have built monuments called hospitals, but we fail to take notice of the subtle quiet magnificent thing called our Spirit, which vigilantly keeps watch over our physical apparatus, bringing it to wholeness in every moment.
I know that there are spiritual scientists rising up in our midst now. They receive the same scrutiny and disregard that we have encoded within us from the beginning of time. We are failing to accept health as our natural state.
It is done unto us as we believe. Do we believe we can be healthy? Is it important enough that we are willing to give up the rewards that we get from being unhealthy? What rewards you might ask? We must look within ourselves to discover them and release them.
It is time to heal. I know it is possible or we wouldn’t seek it. All disease begins in the mental field and eventually that is where all disease will be healed. It will heal by a realization of our Spiritual nature. It is done unto us as we believe. When we are ready we will prove this for ourselves. I know this day is here and I know that healing is possible for all of us not because of something we do, but because of something we finally believe.
In our illnesses, let us find God within us who waits ready to reveal Itself. There is a Power that asks for our faith and trust in It, so it can bring about the miraculous now.
Love and Aloha,
