Computer Consciousness

We live in a physical reality which comes from a Spiritual Universe. Spirit knows substance, but it does not know size. The great mystic, Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “There is no great and no small To the Soul that maketh all: And where it cometh, all things are … “

Everything is Spiritual and nothing can come to us unless it comes through us from the Field of Energy that we embrace with our consciousness. If we are embracing lack and fear, that is our vibration. If we are embracing Love and Trust, that is our vibration.

We say, yes, I love and I trust, so why is this showing up in my life? “This” might be what seems like a sudden shift in money from plenty to lack of it. It might be a disease that shows up that we didn’t expect.

I’m almost through reading a book by Gregg Braden that deals with consciousness and what we reflect into our world and how it comes back to us. It’s called the “Divine Matrix.”  He likens Consciousness to a computer. “The operating system of a computer is fixed and doesn’t change. …When we want to see our computer do something different we do not change the operating system, we change the commands that go into it. The reason that this is important is that Consciousness seems to work in the same way. …Consciousness is the operating system and reality (form) is the output.”

So, we might say we love and trust, but are these just abstract ideas or are we really living from this place? Are they commands? When the output (our reality) of our operating system (consciousness) is not showing us what we say we want, we need more than an abstract idea. We need a fully embodied consciousness of our desire. As Dr. Ernest Holmes wrote, “Spirit creates by becoming the thing it makes.” Gregg Braden says the same thing, “We must become in our lives the very things that we choose to experience in the world.”

So, in regards to this, if we are desiring to experience more abundance of supply. We must become abundance and supply. In other words, we must approach our world as that. This is one of the reasons that I tithe no matter what my financial situation is. I believe that I am letting my operating system know that I have plenty. It gives a consciousness of supply, even when things are perhaps not as abundant in form.

But, I still must look deeper, because if the output is not matching up to what I say I am in consciousness, I might be lying to myself.  If I feel myself slipping back into a lack consciousness, it means that I am relying on what I see instead of going back to feeling what I want to experience through meditation and spiritual mind treatment.

If something is not showing up in my life as I think it should be showing up, I take responsibility for my part in it, which is all of it, really. I am the computer, the command, and the output. Everything begins with my consciousness. “One alone in Consciousness with the Infinite constitutes a complete majority,” wrote Dr. Holmes.

Are we giving our computer (Consciousness) commands from a place of the Infinite, or are we stuck in abstract ideas and airy-fairy wishes and reactions to the world of form (output)? The Universe meets our demands and if we want a change in our life, we need to start using our operating system like an experienced computer user uses the operating system that is. Just like we become a pro at using our Mac or PC and its software programs, we must become a pro in Consciousness, and that takes practice.

We cannot change the operating system of Universal Law, we can only use it wisely and with the Power of knowing exactly who we are: The Operator of a System that is Infinite in its scope.

Love and Aloha,

Rev. Rita
