I feel a sense of sadness. The sadness comes from the knowledge that the world is at war right now. Innocent people are being killed everyday. Mass genocide is real. It seems that we are sitting back hopeless, dependent on our leaders to DO SOMETHING to stop it. The people of Ukraine stand as a beacon of light in their efforts to defend their country. The world seems to be watching, wondering if something will happen to stop the whole thing and bring peace. We are trying to avoid the worst of it, while watching the worst happening. What can we do?

Many people pray, “God, bring peace to our world!” This is a good prayer, but it must begin with us. God expresses itself through each and everyone one of us. “The Kingdom of Heaven is within.”

So, the only place I know to go is to the inner realm, the invisible field, where all creation takes place. I know it is real and I know that if we can be there together holding a consciousness of peace that we will make a difference to all people, leaders and everyone on both sides of this argument. Ernest Holmes once wrote, “Love is a Cosmic Force whose sweep is irresistible.” I have always depended on this thought when confronted with any kind of hatred and anger. I know that Love is the only force there is. It might be hidden or covered up, but it is always there and it is our true essence. The more of us that can unveil it within ourselves, the more we will reach the tipping point in the consciousness of the world. We always stand as an example.

War, such as the one going on now, is an old consciousness. It is the only way we know to solve our differences. However, I believe that the old consciousness is leaving. We witness a world coming together to work on solutions without more violence. Truth gathering its own force will take us from where we are and land us in the new land as soon as enough of us gather in Truth. What is Truth? It’s simple: it is Love, Forgiveness and the remembrance that beyond it all, we are ONE.

We can trust the Law of Cause and Effect to take care of everything. We are seeing an effect. We must change the Cause if we want a different effect. God is looking at God right now doing its best to remember. The more of us that remember who we are and see it in everyone, the quicker we will elevate ourselves out of this conflict. The best we can do right now is to speak out, act in love, support where we can and hold the energy of Light in our own lives. God brings peace to our world through each one of us.
