Are You A Wizard?

Recently, out of curiosity, I took one of those quizzes that tell you what kind of person you might be or what your personality traits equal in the way of life experience. I just couldn’t help myself, but now I know why I usually do not allow myself to do these kinds of tests. I might just believe it and hold myself back in some way.

The sum of my personality was dictated to me as being something called a Wizard. I took it in. Although, the person was telling me that it was okay to be a Wizard, he said it had its down side, in that I might just think that things that I want in life just drop out of the air. He was inferring that I believed in magic, and that might be detrimental. “Life isn’t totally like that, you know,” he went on to say.

I do not remember the rest of the summary, but what I was left with was “things just don’t drop out of the air.”

Now, there is truth in this: “Things do not just drop out of the air,” but there is more to the story. You have to accumulate the consciousness or the mental equivalent for the experiences you say you want in life. You can’t just say I want a million dollars, and expect it to be in your bank account the next moment. Of course not! But, there is always more to the story.

Be not discouraged…There is an element of magic in life. When you can actually have the consciousness of allowing and receiving, and you feel the worthiness for the fullness of life, when you can love yourself beyond measure, and open up as mystic, Emma Curtis Hopkins once wrote to knowing, “There is a Good and I ought to have it!” then yes, things drop out of the air.

It happened to me last night. As I’ve been building my consciousness daily to receive more in life and to trust and have faith in spite of appearances, Good dropped out of the air. However, I know that as Maria sings in the Sound of Music, “Nothing comes from nothing. Nothing ever could.” …I must have thought “something Good.”

That Good that we think is the Good we feel about ourselves and our place in the Universe as Divine Beings, who are receivers of everything, because come from a Loving Intelligence that expresses itself through us.

In this way, we are Wizards, and we can demonstrate what seems to drop out of the air. All the time, we’ve been preparing ourselves to catch that Good like the good catcher catches that ball. It falls smack into her mitt, because she believed, had her eye on the ball, totally committed and poised and ready to receive it.

Have fun being a Wizard today. You’ve always been one.
