“In order to have faith, we must have a conviction that all is well. In order to keep faith, we must allow nothing to enter our thought that will weaken this conviction. Faith is built from belief, acceptance, and trust. Whenever anything enters our thought that destroys, even in some degree, one of these attitudes, faith is weakened.”

Do you have faith despite what appears to be manifesting? There are many reasons these days for faith to be tested. Yet simply using the phrase “our faith” means very little unless we ask: What is faith to you?

For me, faith is the deep conviction that Spirit is incarnated within us—that Spirit is the One Infinite Intelligence of the Universe. I have faith that in every moment I will know exactly what to do and how to act in every circumstance.

There are many challenges we face today. It is my responsibility to vitalize my own faith—faith in myself and faith in the Principle that God, Spirit, and Life are all there is. I have faith that I have shown up on this earth at this time for a reason: to give what is mine to give, to serve, to love, to live fully, and to help others do the same.

Ernest Holmes wrote, “We must keep our faith vital. We must know that we know. We are to demonstrate that spiritual thought force has power over all apparent material resistance.”

Pure faith, then, is spiritual conviction that all is well—no matter what. Life is a spiritual system. This earthly plane is the stage upon which our collective consciousness is made visible. We are responsible for our creations, and we can uncreate and recreate in the same way we created the present circumstances.

Through faith in Good, through living in compassion, through service to others, and through the presence of love—for ourselves and for our fellow human beings—we will succeed in creating a world that works for everyone.

Pure faith is spiritual conviction.
