We are studying the book “You Are the Placebo” by Dr. Joe Dispenza. It is a book that is awakening me to my Power in an even deeper way. This week, we discussed the transforming effect of a technique called “Mental Rehearsal.” Experiments have been done many times over that prove that by mentally rehearsing a skill you want to attain or a goal you want to reach with enough feeling and emotion will change your chemistry and bring forth the manifestation of that which you have mentally rehearsed.

Mental rehearsal is not a new concept and it can be used to our advantage or disadvantage. I remember mentally rehearsing my failures many times. At the time, I didn’t realize that is what I was doing. I was unconscious of my Power. Let’s say when I was an actor, I was going to an audition. On my way to the audition, I sometimes mentally rehearsed everything that could go wrong, including forgetting my lines, etc. You get the point. I think we can all think of times when we unconsciously rehearsed our failures. Well, if we’ve proven we are good at mentally rehearsing our failures, now we get to turn it all around.

Now when I mentally rehearse, I am conscious that I am in a Powerful process. I am careful when I mentally rehearse. Whether it is going to the doctor for a test for my health, or when I am about to give a talk at my Center, or getting ready for an important meeting with someone, I mentally rehearse my success.

Neurochemically, we already know that something happens when we are mentally and emotionally involved with an idea. When we are passionate and filled with excitement and love, we are sending out strong signals to the Universe. It has to come back to us. It’s science.

I invite us to begin to consciously mentally rehearse our success. I invite us to mentally rehearse how we want to live in our world and how we want to bless our world. If we can be disciplined about it, we can succeed. It’s already been proven. Others have done it and we’ve already done it. Let’s consciously do it now. By changing our mind, we are changing the world.
