“Death and Life are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21

This is not the only place in the holy writings that the Power of our Word is explained. “By your words are ye justified and by your words are ye condemned.” Jesus the Christ or “Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

There is all Power within us to speak our word and manifest from that word. However, it isn’t just about saying words. It is about feeling the words we speak. If we were to honestly look at our lives, I believe we would see that we are manifesting that which we speak about most. It is Law. It is Science. “It is done unto us as we believe.” The words we speak come from our beliefs.

I believe my word is Powerful. I have witnessed myself shift my life through the Word. It is why Spiritual Mind Treatment is so powerful. However, our word is as powerful as the Consciousness behind it. Am I speaking from my Super Consciousness or my alignment with the One Source, or am I speaking from my limited self, filled with doubts and fears about what might happen. Worried words are powerful, too. Let’s just face the fact, our Word is Power and it swings in both directions.

Yesterday, I had a lunch date with a friend. I had offered to drive. Seemingly out of nowhere, I had a flash that we were in her electric car and had run out of power. The thought came to me again, when she offered to drive us in her electric car. I accepted her offer and no sooner had we gotten into the car that she said, she had forgotten to plug the car in and charge it. She thought there was plenty of charge to get us where we were going, but the whole time, I could tell she was nervous about it. What I knew was that the flash I had the night before was in the Field. It had not yet come to be; it was a wave of energy. However, it could easily happen. I shifted my consciousness immediately. My word was that we were just fine and had plenty of charge to get wherever we were going. I kept repeating this anytime a doubt came up. Yes, we got to our destination and home with no problem at all.

This is just a small example of how to shift in the moment. Nothing is permanent in the Field. Everything is energy and in motion. We are the ones through our imagination and the Power of our Word who decide how life will play out. We do not always believe this, and that is why we are not always consistent in our demonstrations. We let the world of form and conditions dictate to us what will happen next instead of wiping the slate clean and starting over moment by moment if necessary.

On Kaua`i, there is a consciousness surrounding the acquisition of a home. I have heard many people saying they cannot find a home to rent even though they have the money to pay for it. They continue to walk around saying they cannot find a home. Some are even preparing to live in their cars. My Word is that there is always the perfect home for everyone. It is easy and effortless to find a home. The field is wide open and homes abound for all. I say start preparing for your perfect home. Start packing. Start acting as if. Follow your intuition even though it sometimes seems like it’s weird turn that’s being asked of you. We can only demonstrate by becoming the things we desire. That means not just speaking our word, but vibrating at that frequency.

In her book, The Game of Life, Florence Scovel Shinn writes, “Nothing stands between man and his highest ideals and every desire of his heart, but doubt and fear. When man can state his desire without worrying, every desire will be instantly fulfilled.”

This is a true statement and if you cannot state your desire without worrying then get someone that can help you. This is where a Science of Mind Practitioner can help. If you are open and receptive to your good, nothing stands in the way of you receiving it.
