As I sit here this morning, I am reflecting on what it means to heal. We’ve complicated a very simple process by telling ourselves that we have to fix something. If we could just look at this differently, everything would change.

We are not fixing anything. If we were, we would be like the surgeon who goes in and replaces parts of us and ties things together. This is what he/she does and I am happy and grateful for that.

Spiritual Mind Healing doesn’t put things back together within us. Healing merely allows our innate Perfection to take over. We’ve forgotten it. We’ve covered it up with discordant thinking, stress and other thoughts that bind us.

In a sense, we are undoing mental thoughts that bind us. When we do this, we naturally heal our bodies. When Jesus was said to have cast out the devils from a person what he was doing was casting out the devils of thoughts that bound that person to think evil of himself. He was set free by Jesus’s loving consciousness.

Healing is revealing our Truth. What is your Truth? I’m talking about Truth with a capital “T”. You might not feel it right now, but that’s where I come in. Your Truth is that you are always wholeness. Your Spirit-Self has never been touched by anything. It is pure. You might have just forgotten this. When I remember it about you then something shifts in the Field that we all live in. Wherever you are in consciousness, if you are willing to rise just a bit to allow the good stuff to penetrate those other not so good thoughts, you’ll feel totally different.

Ernest Holmes once wrote, “Water rises at the level of its own weight.” Our thoughts do the same thing. They will rise as we let go of the weights that are holding them down. When we do, our bodies follow suit. It’s science. I’ve witnessed many people heal through Spiritual Mind Healing.

So, the next time, you are in a situation that you think you cannot change, it’s true, you can’t. The only thing you can change is the way you think about it. The more love and light you can allow to penetrate into the experience, the situation has to change because the person who is experiencing it (you) has changed.

Again, you are perfect. You are whole. You have a whole army of healthy cells of love that are more powerful than anything you could ever experience in the world of conditions. Allow them to sing and vibrate. I’ll be cheering you on.
