What am I feeling today? I’ve asked myself this question every morning since the election results. Today, I have decided that I will take a deep breath and stay present and not ruminate the same thoughts of doom and gloom. I will stay present and as I stay present, I will love each moment of my life and dream of how I want to live. I will remember what I have learned about quantum living and I will live it.
In the quantum field, I am creating my experience right now by that on which I focus. How am I looking at everything that has transpired since the election? To be honest, I have been a doomster. I’ve been thinking about everything awful that could take place. This is not a good way to create a better world. In fact, as Ernest Holmes once wrote, it is “unscientific to focus on the negative.” If we are creating our reality, and I believe we are, then why would I ruminate on everything that can go wrong. I need to make a shift.
In the quantum science of living, we are all entangled. If we are all entangled, and I believe we are, then how I think and act is felt everywhere. It’s been quite obvious lately that this is true. We only need to feel our feelings to know what the majority are feeling, no matter what side of the fence we are on.
What’s the best thing I can do right now, for myself, and for the world? I can start dreaming up my own life in the highest and best way I can envision. In the chaos, I can get creative. I’m a highly creative and talented person. I can use my creativity for good. What about you? How will you spend today? In fear? Ruminating on disaster? Gloating on your wins? Your focus is powerful and creates. What about if for just one day or even one hour, we all focused on knowing their is a solution to all of this and that that solution is to just follow the simple truth that is present in all religions and philosophies: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Let’s try it for one day. We can do it. I believe it will feel so good. I believe it will give us a sense of peace. I believe it will allow us to feel the connections between each other instead of the separations.
If you are thinking that I am spiritually by-passing right now, that is not what is occurring. I know the facts. I see what’s happening. I’m aware. However, I also know that the Power to create a better scenario starts by focusing on what I want to see and taking that into action. That is not a spiritual by-pass; it is the mind of one who knows I am causing effect in every moment and using this Power for Good. Ernest Holmes once wrote, to desert the Truth when things look the worst means we do not know the Truth. I’ll stick to the Truth.
