There is a passage 219 in the Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes that states this: “Pinciple is Infinite, but we shall demonstrate Its power only at the level of our concept of It. …People are so tired of looking for things where they do not exist, that they are going to more and more completely open their thought to the realization that Spirit is an active Presence. But if we spend our entire time trying to find out why It does not work, we shall never find out how and why It does work…”

I hear this so much from people that come to me. They argue about why their life is not working, but they refuse to consider that possibly they are not willing to change or embrace the idea that something greater than their condition can be relied upon and embraced.

Again, as I wrote in my last blog, we are to use medical means when necessary. As Ernest wrote, perhaps…”our spiritual understanding is not sufficient to enable us to mentally set bones.” There is nothing wrong with this nor are we less than for going go see a doctor. However, let us not be fooled by our lack of understanding. Spiritual Mind Healing is behind everything and I believe it is the reason some are healing and some are not.

Before I sound judgemental, let me reiterate that healing isn’t just physical healing. Someone may pass from this earth and still experience healing. Healing is the acknowledgement and embodiment of our Divinity. It is unity consciousness. While we are here on earth, we are here. Passing doesn’t mean we are less Divine. We all have a journey and it is unique.

However, while I am here, all I want is to live in conscious embodiment of the Infinite Power. As the song from Pippin states, “I want my life to be something more than long.” Don’t we all want that? I do believe we want to live fully and joyfully. It may seem impossible in this crazy world; however, we are not of this world. We might be in it, but we have the capacity to live fully in spite of every condition that presents itself to us. It is a shift of consciousness.

I’m in the shift right now and I’m not settling for anything less than to live fully as my Divinity. I invite you to join me. Let’s clear away the veils of mediocrity, judgement, and lack, and reveal our unique Truth. If we cannot go beyond our understanding, then it seems that our task is to “get understanding” of our True Nature.
