Without or Within

“When you without for your worthiness, you truly go with-out the truth of your inner light.”
Rita Andriello-Feren

Where are you putting your faith and trust these days? I am constantly bombarded by the news and the happenings around the world. I do not spiritually bypass and say, “I don’t want to look at that!” I look, but I KNOW something else. I know who I am.

Recently, there have been a lot of what I’ll call slip-ups in integrity surrounding my own personal life and those of friends of mine. When I say slip-ups in integrity, I mean things that other people may view as “evil” or as choices that affect us in a negative way. These purposeful slip-ups can be huge, or they can be small. Whatever they are, they affect us and our lives and can make us feel alone. They can make us feel that we have no one we can trust.

As Ernest Holmes would say, “When things look the worst, it is a time to do our best.” Why is that? Because when things look the worst, it is a call to rise higher than we’ve ever risen before. Julian of Norwich said this: “We are made of God, and we shall not be lost.” This Christian mystic lived during the challenging and horrible times of the Middle Ages. She experienced wars, plagues, and much more. However, she could still say, “We are made of God and we shall not be lost.” And she lived from that Principle — her truth.

What is your truth, and how do you embody that truth so that you can live and be of service during these challenging times in our evolution?

The late Jean Houston challenged us to know that “We are not merely humans, we are spiritual beings learning to be human.” I love this, and it vibrates as truth for me. The world of conditions is our challenge to persevere in remembering the astonishing light of our being, project that out, and recognize it in others.

“When you without for your worthiness, you truly go with-out the truth of your inner light.”

Let us go “within” for our power, our wisdom, and know that we can never be lost. We have all the power we could ever require because we are unlimited Spirit. Let us live that today and get about our work to serve where we are planted.

Love and Aloha,
Rita
