In the Abundance Project, created by John Randolph Price, we are to become aware of the Presence of Spirit or Life Force or our Higher Power as the supply of our life. As we do this, what happens is that we are creating our life from First Cause rather than by a reaction to outside circumstances.

Whether we think we are needing supply in the form of money or more love in our life or better health or a more passionate way of expressing ourselves, if we first focus on our inner Source, we can’t help but see the effects of our awareness of this Source as our life. The greater our awareness, the more we experience.

I liken it to making the decision to buy a red car. Your awareness is filled with the idea of red cars. You research them and begin your search. Suddenly, red cars appear in your experience on the road in magazines on TV. You never noticed them before, but now because your focus is centered on red cars they can’t help but show up in your awareness. They were always there, but you didn’t notice them until now. God or Good is here, but we do not experience that Good until we become aware of Its Presence as our Life.

What we focus on grows, and if we want to change our experience in our outer world, we must change our inner world. As Ernest Holmes once wrote, “We make a riddle out of simplicity.” I invite us to think more simply about this. It is done unto us as we believe.

For myself, I have noted a complete change in my life the moment I truly decided to change my focus from the outside to the Inner Self. As I have trusted this constant activity of the Power and Light of Spirit within me as my supply, I have given myself a peace of mind, a knowing that I can meet every challenge. My focus has shifted from lack to trust and faith. Relaxing in trust and faith, unkinks the hose on the flow.

When we turn to our True Selves, Spirit, Life Force and begin to trust that we are Cause of our lives, the Universe begins to respond in kind. It is Cosmic Law. As above, so below. As within, so without. There is no way around this Law. We are always using it. Now, in this step in our evolution as a species, it is demanded of us to use it consciously with love.
