Empowerment coach, teacher, author and motivational speaker, Bob Proctor wrote, “Man’s chief delusion is his conviction that there are causes outside of his own consciousness.”
I agree and I know and believe that this is more than an idea. It can be proven. Our Consciousness is everything. It will change our experience because we will change our relationship to the experience. Our perception is governed by our Consciousness. Contrary to this belief is a consciousness of victimhood, where we believe that everyone and everything did it to us. One belief empowers us to be a vehicle for change; and the other weakens us and leaves us at the mercy of the world of conditions. In fact, we are actually contributing to the negativity in the magnetic field. “One alone in Consciousness with the Infinite constitutes a complete majority.” Ernest Holmes
In the Science of Mind, we “believe that the ultimate goal of life to be a complete freedom from all discord of every nature, and that this goal will be attained by all.” Ernest Holmes
This is important to me because I understand it is not about walking a tight rope and avoiding “bad things” happening to us; it is about experiencing whatever situation we are in as an opportunity to grow, expand and reveal more of our power as creative spiritual beings. This is a freedom from discord. During the times that I have experienced difficulties I have found the secret of digging deeper into my capabilities and intuition. Discord shifts to opportunity.
So, we have a choice during these challenging times. We can continue to blame everyone else for our world and resist what is, or we can embrace the opportunities for shift and change and instead be a positive force of love in the world. As I have stated before, we will do more good by changing ourselves than by trying to fix the world of form. All the great contributions to our species have come from people who had a greater Consciousness than what had been thought up to that point. Think of all the great inventors, scientists and spiritual leaders of change in our history.
There are many opportunities here and now if we can release ourselves from fear, and instead open up to our calling and purpose in the shift that is taking place. These times require people who are led by love, intuition, kindness, and imagination, and more. Do you feel the call? I do.
Love and Aloha,
