As I think of this last year, I am amazed at what has been accomplished by so many. I am amazed at the experiences I’ve had and the leaps of faith that I have taken each and every day. I am grateful that I have had the audacity and boldness to take those leaps. What does it mean to take a leap of faith in the Science of Mind philosophy? It means that you take the first step without seeing the whole staircase in the world of form. It means you know that your Word and decision that is made with feeling assures the means to the end. In other words, you trust the Power of the Universe that runs through you to back you all the way.

Some people will say that they have made decisions with faith and determination and that they have not met with success. I say that is not possible. At times, i have thought the same thing; but when I look back and connect the dots, I admit that the decision I thought I was making was merely made as a wish or a hope. I didn’t truly commit to it wholeheartedly.

Before the ending of this year at Center for Spiritual Living Kaua’i, we’d been struggling somewhat financially. During the last month, there was a moment when we weren’t sure that we would make our bills at the end of the month. We did a powerful Spiritual Mind Treatment and in that moment, I knew that we were fine. The Treatment hit a keynote in my being. I went on to take action to secure our finances. I paid the bills as they came in and just knew that we had to meet our required needed funds. I knew that I knew. The month ended in the black and all vendors were paid in full. For me, this happened because I knew when I made the decision that I must walk out as if it was already a completed fact. I acted with the faith of substance unseen, but with a sureness that could not be denied by my subconscious. I felt the end result.

The same thing happened with the opening of our labyrinth on New Year’s Eve. We continued to build the labyrinth seeing the end as already done. We moved our feet in research and creativity. At just the right moment, the funds came through in full. I know it was the love, the creativity and the willingness to walk as if that made this happen.

Not everyone believes this, but there is a Law of the Universe that responds to us fully according to our belief. It requires full faith, action and the ability to keep our will poised on the outcome, even when we do not see it in the physical form. We are energy. We are vibration. We are directors of unseen substance (the Field) that responds to us. We are particle and wave, and in every moment, we can decide which way the tide is turning.

As this New Year begins, I am diving deeper into this Creative Loving Power and Presence that is all that I am. I am working on growing my faith in the Law of the Universe. I am dedicated to helping others to do the same. I trust my example will lead the way.

Life is good and there is much good for all of us. Although these are challenging times, we are built for them. We have all the spiritual tools needed to traverse this plane of action and create lives of peace, love, health, creativity and prosperity. We must keep our heads up in the Cosmos and our feet firmly planted on the ground and walk steadily and with purpose. We must trust ourselves, love ourselves and be compassionate with all, beginning with ourselves.
