“The Truth is instantaneous in its demonstration, taking only such time in Its unfoldment as is inherent in the law of logical and sequential evolution. In this invisible law of unfoldment, we must come to trust, and although we do not see the way, we must believe that the way IS and IS OPERATIVE. We must trust the Invisible, for It is the sole cause of that which is visible…things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Ernest Holmes

What Ernest Holmes is saying is that our only job in demonstrating our life is to set our intention and remain attentive to our thoughts and actions. The Law—which is simply the attraction of our vibration—will unfold in perfect time. We do not need to know how things will happen, only that they are happening.

When we remain steadfast in thought and action, everything is possible. When we live from a place of gratitude, knowing that all is unfolding perfectly for us, then—and only then—do we begin to live the invisible as the visible.

“Life is a mirror and reflects back to the thinker what he thinks into it.” We can never change the reflection until we change that which is reflecting. That is why it is said that what we are looking for is what we are looking with.

As Thomas Troward, the great mystic and author, wrote, “We must trust the Law to do Its work.” All will come to us when we believe this—and act as if it were true.

Affirmation: Today, I release control and trust the deeper intelligence moving through me.”
